The UAE and Jordan airlifted aid supplies into Gaza for a second day running as conditions in the strip deteriorate. The humanitarian air drops are taking place over “isolated areas” of Gaza, with a focus on territory that cannot be reached by land due to the conflict, state news agency Wam reported. Jordan’s armed forces said two C-130 aircraft flew 17 tonnes of “food and basic necessities” into Gaza in Monday’s operations with the UAE.
