A US official has told reporters that Washington is “open for business” if Iran wishes to negotiate with the Trump administration. “I think they know the terms,” the official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said when asked by journalists about the terms of talks with Tehran. “They’re aware of the terms.” A US aircraft carrier and supporting warships have arrived in the Middle East, expanding Trump’s capabilities for potential military action against Iran.
