United Nations: On Nov 2, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said that the United States would try to remove Iran from the 45-member U.N. Commission on the Status of Women. The decision was taken under the premise of the Iranian government’s denial of women’s rights and brutal crackdown on protests.
