A UN summit on a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict offers a “rare and indispensable opportunity” to break a cycle of violence and mistrust, Secretary General Antonio Guterres said. Mr Guterres said the decades-old conflict has “defied hopes, diplomacy, countless resolutions and international law”.
