Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday called on the international community to “immediately begin implementing the two-state solution” during a speech at the Arab League summit in Manama, Bahrain. The leader reiterated the rejection of the displacement of Palestinians and “a repetition of the tragedy of the Nakba”, adding that “war crimes and genocide in Gaza have been ongoing for seven months under US cover”.
