The White House welcomed the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza, and said that President Donald Trump is committed to seeing the remaining freed. “The White House applauds the release of eight additional hostages from Hamas captivity, thanks for the ceasefire efforts by President Trump,” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters. “And the President will be committed to the release of all remaining hostages and they should have never been taken by the brutal terrorists in the first place.
