Donald Trump said US defence companies had agreed to “quadruple production” of what he called “exquisite class” weaponry following a White House meeting. In a post on Truth Social, the president said expansion of production facilities had already begun three months ago and that new plants were already under way. He added that the “US want to reach, as rapidly as possible, the highest levels of quantity”.
