Mohammad Taleb, a project officer with Islamic Relief Lebanon, reported about the plight of displaced people in Lebanon following Israel’s attacks on the country. “The situation right now is really painful and challenging for people. Many displaced families are struggling to cope with what is happening right now. They are in a state of shock, fear and confusion; they are traumatised. They are still worried that this will not end anytime soon.” Taleb said that many people are struggling to find space in shelters due to overcrowding. He described the scene inside a shelter that he visited yesterday.
