US President Donald Trump has met Syrian President Ahmad Al Shara on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The meeting, reported by state media outlet Sana, is believed to have taken place on Tuesday when Mr Trump gave his address to the General Assembly. Sana said that the meeting took place at a reception hosted by Mr Trump.
