The accused masterminds behind the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Muhammad and his four cronies, were presented before the court in a US naval base located in Guantanamo Bay Cuba in almost 18 months. The trial resumed after a long halt due to the covid-19 pandemic. The accused could be hanged if proven guilty.
