Iran has rejected a ceasefire with the United States and Israel, emphasising a permanent end to the ongoing war in the Middle East, the official IRNA news agency reported. In its response to Pakistan on the US proposal to end the war, Tehran insisted on a permanent end that honours Iran’s core concerns. Tehran’s reply also outlined a 10‑clause framework, calling for an end to regional conflicts, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, lifting of sanctions, and post‑war reconstruction.
