‘Newton of Gaza’ creates system to light up family tent

Using two fans he picked up from a scrap market and rigged to some wires, teenager Hussam Al-Attar has created his own source of electricity to light up the tent where he and his family are living after being displaced by Israel’s assault on Gaza. In recognition of his ingenuity, people in the surrounding tent camp have given him a nickname: Gaza’s Newton. “They started calling me Gaza’s Newton due to the similarity between me and Newton,” said Al-Attar, who looks and sounds young for his 15 years. "Ukraine's war’s impact on trade not as bad as expected": WTO

The World Trade Organization (WTO) stated that Global trade grew more than expected last year despite the upheaval caused by the Russia-Ukraine war. The global trade watchdog had forecast just three percent growth for 2022 as the conflict caused major disruptions to exports including wheat and fuels. WTO chief seeks to revive green trade talks

Sharm El-Sheikh: On Nov 8, the head of the World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, aimed to revive negotiations on a global environmental trade deal. She told that the talks would be the part of endeavors of WTO to tackle climate change.
