UNICEF Warns of Growing Online Risks for Children

About 20 million internet-using children across 21 countries experienced sexual exploitation or abuse online within a year, UNICEF said Thursday. More than one in five surveyed children aged 12 to 17 reported at least one form of abuse. Most incidents occurred on social media, particularly Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, while online gaming accounted for a smaller share. Nearly 2.6 million Ukrainian children displaced: UNICEF

More than a third of Ukrainian children, or 2,589,900, remain displaced as the war is about to enter its fifth year, the UN agency says. Six Palestinian children froze to death this Gaza winter: UNICEF

Six Palestinian children have died from hypothermia in Gaza this winter, a UNICEF spokesperson said on Tuesday. "We've had children die of hypothermia again in the last few days.
