UK government urged to act after pro-Palestine journalist suffers health emergency in ICE detention

Assault on Gaza aid ship orchestrated: Tunisia

Tunisia has said an assault on a Gaza aid flotilla at Sidi Bou Said port was orchestrated, after the Global Sumud Flotilla reported one of its boats was attacked by a drone for the second time in two days. More than 1,000 welcome Gaza-bound aid boats in Tunisia

More than 1,000 people gathered at a Tunisian port to welcome an aid boat from Barcelona carrying environmental activist Greta Thunberg and other pro-Palestinian campaigners seeking to break Israel's blockade of Gaza. Tunisia leader shows Trump adviser images of starving Gaza children

Tunisian President Kais Saied presented US President Donald Trump's senior adviser for Africa with photographs of starving children in Gaza, official video of their meeting showed. Mr Saied told US envoy Massad Boulos that "it is time for all of humanity to wake up and put an end to these crimes against the Palestinian people". Tunisia evacuate its nationals from Gaza

Tunisian opposition leader Ghannouchi to begin hunger strike

Tunisian opposition leader Rached Ghannouchi, a fierce critic of President Kais Saied, would begin a hunger strike in prison, according to a statement from his Islamist Ennahda party released on Friday. Ghannouchi, 82, has been in prison since April.
