Iranian and Pakistani officials continue talks in Islamabad

The two countries have reached an agreement to enhance their cooperation in the fields of counterterrorism, anti-drug and human smuggling, and border management. The deal was reached in a meeting between visiting Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and his Pakistani counterpart Mohsin Naqvi in the capital, Islamabad, a statement from the Pakistani Interior Ministry said. Momeni is currently visiting to discuss a de-escalation formula by Pakistan and Qatar to end ongoing hostilities between Iran and the US and pave the way for the resumption of stalled peace talks. US hits another 'narcotrafficking' vessel, Trump confirms

President Donald Trump has said the US military carried out its third fatal strike against an alleged drug smuggling vessel this month. Trump said in a social media posting on Friday that the strike killed three and was carried out against a vessel "affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organisation conducting narcotrafficking in the USSOUTHCOM (United States Southern Command) area of responsibility. Syria, Lebanon aim for deals on prisons and smuggling

Syria and Lebanon hope to strike two deals on returning prisoners home and preventing smuggling across their border, they announced. One "judicial agreement" could see hundreds of Syrian prisoners return from Lebanon, while a second "related to borders" would tackle the trafficking of drugs and weapons. Iran hangs three men for spying for Israel

Iran executed three men on Wednesday, after they were convicted of collaborating with Israel’s Mossad spy agency and smuggling equipment used in an assassination, the judiciary’s Mizan news agency reported. The equipment they smuggled was used in the assassination of one unnamed personality, Mizan reported without giving further details. Entangled in a decades-long shadow war with Israel before the recent open conflict, Iran has put to death many individuals convicted of having links with the Mossad and facilitating the latter’s operations in the country. Israeli military says it downed drone smuggling weapons

Israeli military said on Thursday it shot down a drone smuggling weapons from Egyptian territory to Israel on Wednesday. Gaza suffers near total breakdown of law, order: UNRWA chief

Surgical instruments smuggled from India confiscated

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) busted a smuggling ring in Karachi and recovered a large cache of smuggled items, including surgical instruments, expired lenses, currency, and gold. Deputy Director FIA Rauf Shaikh said that they raided a bungalow in the PECHS area, and confiscated a large quantity of smuggled goods.
