Rift between PTV and Shoaib Akhtar filled

It emerged that Pakistan Television (PTV) on Thursday withdrew the case against Shoaib Akhtar, former fast bowler, in which it had demanded him to pay Rs100 million. The court subsequently disposed of the suit when the lawyer for PTV notified a civil court in Lahore of the reconciliation between two parties. PTV did not wish to pursue the case further, he stated. Shoaib Akhtar to pursue legal battle against Pakistan Television Corporation

Islamabad: Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar vowed on Sunday that he would not give up and fight legal battle after the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC). PTVC sent him a recovery notice of Rs100 million in damages and asked him to reimburse three months' paycheck for transgressing clauses of their agreement.
