Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, and Zartaj Gul have all approached the Peshawar High Court (PHC) in response to legal actions taken against them in connection with the May 9 riots. ECP disqualifies Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz other PTI lawmakers

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers including Opposition leader in National Assembly Omar Ayub and Senate Opposition Leader Shibli Faraz after conviction in May 9 riots cases. Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, other PTI leaders sentenced to 10 years in May 9 cases

Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Faisalabad has sentenced Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders including Omar Ayub, Zartaj Gul, Shibli Faraz to 10 years in prison in connection with the May 9 riots cases. The ATC Faisalabad verdict, announced in cases registered at the Ghulam Muhammadabad and Civil Lines police stations (Case No. 1277 and Case No. 832), convicted 108 individuals, while 77 others were acquitted. 'Use less petrol to avoid price hike': Shibli Faraz

Islamabad: On Wednesday, following the hike in the prices of petroleum products in the country, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz has advised the public to use "as little fuel as possible". Shibli Faraz announced to introduce EVMs in next 9 to 10 days 

Shibli Faraz announced that to strengthen the electoral system in Pakistan, the government has decided to introduce an electronic voting system. EVMs will ensure fair elections. They are user-friendly and can work at any temperature between 55°C to -10°C. EVMs have two days working capacity after being fully charged.
