Shahid Afridi clarifies viral opinion about Khan

Lahore: Pakistan cricket team's former captain Shahid Afridi refuted the statement about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan that was purportedly linked to him. Taking to Twitter, he said that he had been seeing an opinion mentioning Khan. He said anyone doing this was involved in dirty politics. Shahid Afridi hints at return of senior players

On Sunday, Shahid Afridi hinted at the possibility of senior players returning to the Pakistan men’s cricket team. Afridi was appointed as the interim head of the men’s national selection committee for the home series against New Zealand by the Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee led by Najam Sethi on Saturday. Lahore: On Sunday, Pakistan Super League's (PSL) franchise Quetta Gladiators suffered a huge blow when the veteran all-rounder and former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi announced his withdrawal from the league midway.
