PML-N secures simple majority to form govt in AJK, claims Sanaullah

Prime Minister's Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Monday claimed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secured a simple majority to form the government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir after winning 23 of the 45 seats. Addressing a press conference alongside Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam in Islamabad, the senior PML-N leader claimed victory on 13 seats in the second phase of the AJK elections, including four of the seven seats in Muzaffarabad, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) secured three seats. Any lapse in Imran Khan's treatment will amount to criminal negligence: Sanaullah

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Rana Sanaullah on Friday said that if it were proven that medical treatment was deliberately withheld from incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, it would constitute criminal negligence and could not be justified. Speaking on the Senate floor, Sanaullah, who is also the prime minister's adviser on public and political affairs, said that the opposition wanted to raise the issue of Khan's health, particularly an eye problem, but maintained that the facts had already been clarified before the Supreme Court. Pakistan open to neutral inquiry into Pahalgam incident: Rana Sanaullah

Prime Minister’s Political Advisor Rana Sanaullah has said that Pakistan is open to an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident. Talkimg to media, Rana Sanaullah accused India of pursuing its “nefarious objectives” and refusing to accept Pakistan’s existence. He warned that India’s conduct is pushing the region toward instability. “We are ready for a neutral inquiry into the Pahalgam incident,” Rana Sanaullah said, adding that Pakistan would also accept a joint investigation or even a third-party special expert-led probe into the matter. Court issues non-bailable arrest warrants of Rana Sanaullah

A local court issued non-bailable arrest warrants of the adviser to PM Rana Sanaullah. Judicial Magistrate Sidra Gul Nawaz issued arrest warrants of Rana Sanaullah and ordered producing him before the court on December 12. A case registered at Satellite Town police station against the PML-N leader over a public meeting of the PDM in Gujranwala on October 16, 2020, has been under hearing in the magisterial court. Adviser to Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah has been given the additional charge of the Ministry for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC). Major upset as Rana Sanaullah loses Faisalabad’s NA-100 seat

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has faced another upset as former interior minister Rana Sanaullah lost the elections in the National Assembly constituency (NA-100). According to unofficial results received from all polling stations of Na-100, independent candidate Nisar Jutt won the NA-100 seat by securing 131,996 votes having a lead of 19,593 votes over the PML-N’s Rana Sanaullah, who came in second position with 112,403 votes. Rana Sanaullah provides details of Khan’s arrest

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah provided details on the arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case on Tuesday. Sanaullah said that Khan was arrested by officials of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) specifically in the Al-Qadir Trust case, adding that there were “dozens” of other cases with corruption inquiries in progress against the former premier.
