Windsor: On Sept 19, Queen Elizabeth's coffin arrived at Windsor Castle, her final resting place. People lined the route her hearse took from London, throwing flowers, cheering, and clapping as it passed from the city to England's countryside that she so loved throughout her life. King Charles III addresses British parliament

On Monday, King Charles III called Britain’s parliament the “living and breathing instrument of our democracy” and pledged to follow his late mother Queen Elizabeth II’s example in maintaining its independence in an address to both chambers. Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb announced on Sunday that Pakistan will observe a day of mourning over Queen Elizabeth’s death on Monday. Aurangzeb issued a news statement to confirm, “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given approval to (a proposal) of observing a day of mourning over the demise of the Queen of the United Kingdom. Queen Elizabeth tests positive for Covid-19

It emerged that the 95-year-old Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID and has “mild” symptoms. Buckingham Palace announced in a statement the 95-year-old British monarch would continue to perform light duties. “Buckingham Palace confirms that the queen has today tested positive for COVID,” the statement said. “Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week.
