Islamabad: On Nov 23, Pakistan's outgoing army chief rejected "fake and false" claims by ousted prime minister Imran Khan that a U.S.-backed conspiracy had toppled his government. He also said that the military would play no role in national politics in the future. PML-Q's Tariq Bashir Cheema steps down

Islamabad: It emerged that minutes after the no-confidence motion was tabled against the PM Khan, Federal Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema stepped down from office. Cheema had earlier sought permission from the party president, Shujaat, to resign from ministry.
