Toshakhana case: IHC suspends Imran Khan's arrest warrant

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday suspended the arrest warrants of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former PM Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq, while accepting Khan’s plea against Additional Session Judge Zafar Iqbal's decision, pronounced the reserved verdict. ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ to commence from Feb 22: Khan

Former PM Imran Khan announced on Friday that the party’s ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ (court arrest drive) would commence from Lahore on February 22 (Wednesday). Khan had announced the movement on February 5 after apparently running out of options to press the PML-N-led government to hold elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khan admits misusing Shaukat Khanum's funds

Islamabad: In a hearing of a Rs10 billion damages case against Khawaja Asif, former PM Imran Khan admitted that the board invested the money from the Shaukat Khanum’s funds in a housing project. Barrister Haider Rasool, the counsel for Khawaja Asif, questioned Khan over investment in a construction project. "Good relations with India not possible under BJP rule": Khan

On Monday, former PM Imran Khan sought the need for Pakistan to mend ties with India. However, he made it clear that a good relationship would be impossible while the nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) remains in power.
