A corruption scandal may well end the war in Ukraine

On November 10, the Ukrainian anticorruption authorities revealed that close associates of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy were allegedly involved in a scheme to embezzle $100m from Ukraine’s energy sector. Zelenskyy’s business partner Tymur Mindich as well as two government ministers have been named so far in the investigation, led by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), an agency backed by Western governments. Red Fort metro station to remain closed tomorrow

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation says the Lal Qila station, the local name for the historic Red Fort, will be closed on November 12. The blast took place close to the entrance of the bustling metro station. Weak La Niña expected in November, December: NDMA

A top National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) official has said that Pakistan will experience a weak La Niña phase in November and December this year. Briefing the media in Islamabad on Thursday, Tayyab Shah, the NDMA’s Director Risk Management, said the La Niña phase is expected to last three to four months. Starlink will be available to public by November: IT Minister

Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunications, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, announced that Starlink, the satellite-based internet service, will be available to the public by November or December 2025 in Pakistan. The announcement was made during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology held in Islamabad. Israel says it struck military sites in east and south Lebanon

Israel's military said it struck military sites in east and south Lebanon, in its latest attack despite a November ceasefire that ended a war against militant group Hezbollah. "A short while ago, the IDF struck a military site containing an underground terrorist infrastructure site in the Bekaa area in Lebanon, as well as a military site containing rocket launchers in southern Lebanon in which Hezbollah activity has been identified," the military said in a statement.
