Arab League chief says Iran’s role towards Arab states is ‘extremely negative’

The Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Fahmy stated that the conflict in the Gulf region cannot be solved by military intervention and warned that “the crisis is poised to continue”. Fahmy said he believed Arab countries needed to “establish clear foundations” in their relationships with Iran going forward. JIT summons 25 PTI leaders, social media members over negative propaganda

Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has summoned at least 25 leaders and social media members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for their alleged involvement in negative propaganda. The noose has been tightened around those spreading negative propaganda on digital platforms as 15 PTI leaders and ten members of its social media team have been summoned to appear before a Joint Investigation Team at 12 p.m. tomorrow (March 7). According to sources, the JIT, established by the federal government, has summoned the individuals accused of spreading negative propaganda on social media. Read More…

UN Gaza resolution has no impact on Doha ceasefire talks: Qatar

A UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza has no negative impact on talks in Doha, Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al Ansari said on Tuesday. "This resolution comes as part of the continued international pressure from international community to end this conflict," he told a press conference. UNRWA cashflows to turn negative next month: Chief

Cashflow at the UN agency for Palestinians refugees would turn negative next month and its financial problems will worsen in April if funding does not resume, the UNRWA chief said on Thursday. Resolution seeking ‘severe punishment’ for propaganda against army adopted

The Senate on Monday passed a unanimous resolution, recommending ‘severe punishment’ for “negative and malicious propaganda” against the armed forces of Pakistan. The resolution, moved by PPP Senator Bahramand Khan Tangi, earlier demanded a 10-year disqualification from public office for those found involved in negative propaganda against army.
