Iranian President lands in Lahore on two day visit to Pakistan

Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Lahore on two day state visit to Pakistan. On arrival, the Iranian president was received by PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Iran’s President visited the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal in the historic city. He will leave for Islamabad after brief stay in Lahore. Nawaz Sharif to visit Belarus accompanying PM Sharif 

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Belarus accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on April 09, sources said. Sharif’s London visit schedule has been changed and he will visit Belarus before going to London. President Belarus has especially invited Nawaz Sharif to his country. “He will leave for London from Belarus on April 10,” sources said. “His routine medical checkup was held at Sharif Medical City and doctors declared his health condition satisfactory,” sources shared. Punjab CM launches 1,000 free tractors scheme for farmers

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has formally launched the ‘CM Punjab Wheat Incentive Program’, which includes a scheme to provide 1,000 free tractors to wheat farmers. Under the Punjab free tractors scheme, 55-horsepower tractors will be given free of cost to 1,000 successful farmers, who were selected through a digital balloting process. The first tractor was awarded to Kausar Parveen, a female farmer from Bahawalnagar. FIA begins Toshakhana inquiry against Zardari, Nawaz Sharif

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has initiated an inquiry into the Toshakhana case against President Asif Ali Zardari, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, and former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. Maryam Nawaz directs formation of anti-encroachment police force
