Shehbaz Defends Emergency Rule in KP Amid Security Concerns

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the federal government was compelled to impose emergency and governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after dialogue efforts failed. Nawaz Sharif argued the intervention should have come earlier. Shehbaz accused the PTI of using provincial resources for confrontation and said negotiations had failed to resolve differences.
