President Zardari confers Nishan-e-Imtiaz on NSC Commander Gen Raza

National Strategic Command (NSC) Commander General Syed Amir Raza was conferred the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) by President Asif Ali Zardari at a ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the services chiefs also attended the ceremony on Tuesday. One killed during anti-conscription protest in West Jerusalem

One person was killed and three others injured during a protest in West Jerusalem against a law requiring the conscription of ultra-Orthodox Jews into the Israeli military, emergency services said. According to Israel’s emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, a bus struck several pedestrians during the protest. US threatening peace in Latin America: China

China’s Foreign Ministry says the use of force by the US military threatens peace in Latin America, and that it supports the UNSC meeting later today. Ministry spokesperson ‌Lin Jian reiterated Beijing’s stance on the US attack on ‍Venezuela and called for the immediate ‍release of Maduro.
