Strikes in Minab, Lamerd not ‘an operational error’: Iranian official

Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs, has said the findings of a UN mission confirm that “what happened in Minab and Lamerd was a clear war crime, not an operational error.” Gharibabadi was referring to February’s deadly missile strikes on a primary school in Minab and a sports complex in Lamerd. Israelis settlers fire live ammunition in area of Beita, attack barn belonging to farmer

Israeli settlers have launched attacks on an area called Abu al-Hamra in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Wafa News Agency reports. Local sources told Wafa and our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic that a group of settlers attacked an industrial facility and a barn belonging to a farmer named Samer Abu Mazen, firing live ammunition in the area. Arab League chief says Iran’s role towards Arab states is ‘extremely negative’

The Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Fahmy stated that the conflict in the Gulf region cannot be solved by military intervention and warned that “the crisis is poised to continue”. Fahmy said he believed Arab countries needed to “establish clear foundations” in their relationships with Iran going forward. Volkswagen Factory Plan Sparks Fresh Opposition

Volkswagen’s revived proposal to produce military equipment at its Osnabruck factory with Israel’s Rafael has triggered renewed opposition in Germany. Critics, including Lower Saxony’s Left Party, oppose replacing civilian production with arms manufacturing and using public funds for the project.
