Bhagwat Appearance Draws Protesters in New York

WASHINGTON: A large demonstration was held outside Madison Square Garden as RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat attended a “Universal Oneness” event. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Dalit and civil-rights groups criticised his appearance, accusing the RSS of promoting majoritarian politics and discrimination against minorities. Iran’s Khamenei calls for Muslim unity

TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has urged Muslim countries, especially Gulf states, to unite against what he described as their “real enemy”. In a message marking Islamic Unity Week, he called for greater cooperation, mutual defence and solidarity, warning that divisions benefit Islam’s adversaries.
