PSL 8: Shan, David fire Sultans to 205-5 against United

Rawalpindi: Shan Masood’s blistering 75-ball 50 and Tim David’s blazing 27-ball 60 powered Multan Sultans to 205-5 against Islamabad United in the 24th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). After being put into bat, Sultans’ skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood stitched a partnership of 37-ball 57. Shan Masood and Tim David combined for a blistering partnership. Shahid Afridi to join Gladiators for his last PSL tournament

Shahid Afridi will play for the Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League 7, which will be his final season after playing for the Multan Sultans in the previous edition. The trade was announced on Thursday, just days before the Player Draft 2022, which is set to take place on Sunday. The Quetta Gladiators will be Afridi's fourth PSL squad, following his stints with Peshawar Zalmi (2016 and 2017), Karachi Kings (2018), and Multan Sultan (2019-21).
