A flood wave from the River Ravi inundated Lahore localities. As per details, the floodwaters from Ravi River entered nearby settlements, submerging several areas of Lahore, including Badru Pind, Talluq Pura, Mehna Wal, Chuhng, and Theme Park. Flood-affected residents have moved with their belongings and families to the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway for shelter. Wildfires due to extreme heat and wind broke out near Jerusalem, forcing the evacuation of communities and the closure of a main motorway, as the country was observing Memorial Day and many Israelis visited gravesites. A man was killed inside a car after it caught fire on Damascus international airport motorway on Friday, a war monitor said. It was not clear if the cause of the fire was a bomb inside the car or it was targeted in an air strike, the head of the Syria Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdel Rahman, said. At least eight people were killed and 10 others received injuries as a result of the collision between a passenger bus and trailer truck on Sukkur-Multan motorway in the wee hours of Monday. The ill-fated was travelling from Mansehra to Karachi, said Motorway Police official. More than 1,500 climate protesters have been arrested by police in the Netherlands after blocking a major motorway in The Hague.
