Pakistan hammer Australia by nine wickets in 2nd ODI

Pakistan clinched a historic nine-wicket win against Australia in the second of the three-match series here at the Adelaide Oval on Friday. M Rizwan wins PCB's most Valuable Cricketer of the Year Award

According to a statement issued by the board, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan bagged the title of the Most Valuable Cricketer of the Year as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the results of its 2021 awards on Thursday. The winners were announced via a virtual digital show on a Youtube channel which was presented by Roha Nadeem and Sikander Bakht. The fast recovery of Pakistani batter-wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, who was treated in a Dubai hospital's urgent care unit before hitting the field against Australia in the vital T20 World Cup semi-final, was described as "miracle" by an Indian doctor. T20 World Cup: Mohammad Rizwan and Shoaib Malik likely to play today

According to team manager Mansoor Rana, Pakistani cricketers Mohammad Rizwan and Shoaib Malik are feeling better and will most likely play today (Thursday) in the T20 World Cup semi-final match against Australia. After easing into the Twenty20 World Cup semi-finals with another clinical win over Namibia on Tuesday, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan promised that Pakistan can beat any team in the final four.
