JKLF voices concern over Yasin Malik’s legal case

MUZAFFARABAD: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Friday condemned what it called an attempt by Indian authorities to implicate incarcerated chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik in a decades-old murder case. India’s State Investigation Agency named Malik among five accused in the killing of Kashmiri Pandit woman Sarla Bhat in 1990. The JKLF expressed concern after Malik submitted an affidavit from Tihar Jail, saying he would not contest the trial while stressing this did not amount to an admission of guilt. Read More…

PCB decides to hold PSL matches at AJK's Muzaffarabad stadium

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to host the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Azad Jammu and Kashmir's (AJK) Muzaffarabad cricket stadium. The announcement was made by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi during the PSL roadshow held at London’s Lord’s Cricket Ground. Three dead in AJK protests as govt proposes talks with action committee

MUZAFFARABAD: The federal government has once again offered negotiations to the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JKJAAC) amid ongoing protests, which claimed the lives of three police personnel and injured over 100. AJK LG polls: PTI takes lead by winning 33 seats

Muzaffarabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has clinched victory on 33 seats followed by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) grabbing 18 seats during the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Local Government (LG) polls, according to unofficial and unconfirmed results. According to reports, PTI candidates won 33 seats while PPP secured victory on 18 seats. Rawalakot Hawks win KPL Final 2021

Rawalakot Hawks defeated the Muzaffarabad Tigers by seven runs to win the final of the Kashmir Premier League(KPL) at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium. The Muzaffarabad Tigers were able to score 162 runs, in 20 overs against the fall of seven wickets, after being given a 170-run target. Kashmir Premier league Final today

The Kashmir Premier League(KPL) final will be played between Rawalakot Hawks and Muzaffarabad Tigers, at 7 PM today. The main match of the Kashmir Premier League being played in Muzaffarabad was between Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik. Rawalakot Hawks defeated Mirpur Royals by four wickets to make it to the final. Kashmir Premier League to kick off today.

The opening ceremony of the event will be held in Muzaffarabad cricket stadium at 6 pm. Six teams will face off in the Kashmir Premier League, including Muzaffarabad Tigers, Rawalakot Hawks, Bagh Stallions, Mirpur Royals, Kotli Lions, and Overseas warriors.
