French police fire tear gas at Labour Day protesters
Nationwide protests were held across France on Labour Day as President Emmanuel Macron's retirement age reforms continued to unleash a wave of social unrest. Police fired tear gas in Paris and the western city of Nantes to disperse the gathered demonstrators.
