Iran executes two men convicted of links to Daesh

Iran executed two men convicted of being members of Daesh militant cell and of armed action against the Islamic Republic, the Iranian judiciary's news outlet Mizan reported on Tuesday. Mizan said Mohieddin Abdollahi and Hossein Palani were sentenced to death after their convictions were upheld by the Supreme Court, adding that the cell had planned attacks in Iran after operating from the Bamo heights along the Iran-Iraq border. Iran convicts two French nationals of espionage linked to Israel

Iran’s judiciary says two French nationals have been handed lengthy prison terms after being convicted on multiple charges, including spying for Israel. According to the judiciary’s Mizan Online website, the pair were found guilty of “spying for the French intelligence”, “association to commit a crime against national security” and “intelligence cooperation with the Zionist regime”. Judicial committee formed on enforced disappearances

The National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee (NJPMC) on Friday took serious notice of the enforced disappearances and unanimously resolved that the judiciary would not compromise on its constitutional duty to safeguard fundamental rights. The 53rd meeting of NJPMC was convened at the Supreme Court of Pakistan under the Chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr Justice Yahya Afridi. Iran hangs three men for spying for Israel

Iran executed three men on Wednesday, after they were convicted of collaborating with Israel’s Mossad spy agency and smuggling equipment used in an assassination, the judiciary’s Mizan news agency reported. The equipment they smuggled was used in the assassination of one unnamed personality, Mizan reported without giving further details. The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday issued contempt of court notices to independent Senator Faisal Vawda and MQM-Pakistan MNA Mustafa Kamal over anti-judiciary rhetoric. Iran executes 'terrorist' accused of working for Israel's Mossad

Iranian state media reported that the judiciary had executed a "terrorist" over a drone attack on a Defence Ministry site in the centre of the country last year. The person "planned to explode the workshop complex of the Ministry of Defence in Isfahan under guidance of the intelligence officer of Mossad", Israel's spy agency, according to state TV.
