Lebanese border town condemns Israeli burning of hospital

The municipality of Houla in southern Lebanon accused Israeli forces of systematically destroying public facilities in border villages and highlighted the torching of a government hospital. Israeli soldiers also destroyed Houla’s official school and daycare centre previously. It called the latest incident – the burning of Mays al-Jabal’s government hospital – a “flagrant violation of the sanctity of public institutions”, state-run National News Agency reported. Israeli soldiers arrest 2 children during raids in and around Bethlehem

The Israeli military stormed the city of Bethlehem early this morning and arrested two Palestinian children, aged 14 and 15, Wafa has reported. Separately, Israeli forces raided four towns east of Bethlehem but did not arrest anyone. Children in the occupied West Bank are facing a sharp rise in settler pogroms and killings by Israeli forces, the UN has said. Jerusalem Governorate calls killing of Palestinian man by Israeli forces ‘extrajudicial execution’

The Jerusalem Governorate has condemned the killing of a Palestinian man by Israeli forces in occupied East Jerusalem on Friday. Authorities said Israeli forces shot 33-year-old Ibrahim al-Hindi twice near the Damascus Gate area, killing him instantly. Raids Across West Bank Lead to New Arrests

Israeli forces arrested Palestinians, including a journalist, during early Thursday raids across the occupied West Bank, according to the Prisoners Media Office. Arrests were reported in Bethlehem, Nablus, Salfit and Hebron provinces. In Bethlehem, several people were detained during home raids, while a father and his two sons were arrested in Beit Fajjar. Palestinian presidency warns of escalating ‘religious conflict’ over Al-Aqsa Mosque
