‘Golan will remain Syrian territory’: Syrian President al-Sharaa

Al-Sharaa has said that any attempts to violate Syria’s sovereignty and international law “will be stopped”. He added, “Golan will remain Syrian territory,” and that any attempts to violate that will be “thwarted”, in accordance with Security Council Resolution 497. He thanked all who abided by international law and “those who refrained from reinterpreting Resolution 497”.
