Houthis claim missile attack on Riyadh airport

Yemen’s Houthis say they have carried out a ballistic missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, claiming the missile caused significant damage. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree declared the airport unsafe and renewed the group’s call for international airlines, aviation employees and passengers to avoid travelling through Saudi airspace, which he also described as unsafe. Saudi authorities have not confirmed an attack on the airport, but the country's civil defence agency issued a warning of a potential threat in Riyadh.
