Major upset as Rana Sanaullah loses Faisalabad’s NA-100 seat

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has faced another upset as former interior minister Rana Sanaullah lost the elections in the National Assembly constituency (NA-100). According to unofficial results received from all polling stations of Na-100, independent candidate Nisar Jutt won the NA-100 seat by securing 131,996 votes having a lead of 19,593 votes over the PML-N’s Rana Sanaullah, who came in second position with 112,403 votes. Khan hits back at Rana Sanaullah

Rana Sanaullah provides details of Khan’s arrest

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah provided details on the arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case on Tuesday. Sanaullah said that Khan was arrested by officials of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) specifically in the Al-Qadir Trust case, adding that there were “dozens” of other cases with corruption inquiries in progress against the former premier. "Govt seeks free and fair elections": Rana Sanaullah

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Wednesday that holding the election on April 30 was not in line with the constitutional procedure. Police officials involved in baton-charging "suspended": Sanaullah

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Wednesday that police personnel involved in baton-charging the participants of Aurat March in Islamabad had been suspended. In a tweet, the minister said “other persons responsible for misbehavior” were also being identified and proper action would also be taken against them.
