Former Pakistan women's hockey player Shahida Raza was among at least 67 people killed on the weekend in a refugee shipwreck off the coast of Italy. Chief Minister of KP's important step for Promotion of Sports in the Province

Chief Minister Mahmood Khan unveiled astro-turf at the historic Islamia College University's newly constructed hockey facility on Wednesday. “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be the first province in Pakistan to have more than 15 astro-turfs, which will promote the national game and explore and train hockey players in the province,” the chief minister said after inaugurating a Rs150 million astro-turf.
