ISLAMABAD: The National Commission on the Status of Women has called for immediate police action against rising violence, rape and harassment targeting women and girls. Chairperson Noureen Bano Lehri voiced concern over recent cases and urged authorities to ensure swift, transparent and merit-based investigations, effective prosecution and timely justice. Venezuela accuses US of 'provocation' after fighter jets spotted near coast

Venezuela has accused the United States of military harassment after Defence Minister Vladimir Padrino said five US fighter jets were detected near the country’s coast. "They are fighter jets. S. Korea stalker jailed 40 years for killing woman in subway

A man in South Korea has been sentenced to 40 years in jail for killing a female colleague who had reported him for stalking and harassment.
