French Police Arrest Suspect After Caen Car Attack

CAEN: French police arrested a Russian national of Chechen origin after a car was deliberately driven into a crowd in Caen, killing two men believed to be Afghan and injuring nine others. Officials said the 26-year-old suspect was involved in a fight before returning in his car and striking people near the city’s train station. Prosecutors said there was no apparent terrorist motive.
