France extends helping hand to flood-hit Pakistan

On Wednesday, France stepped forth to assist in the revival of Pakistan's economy and its reconstruction after floors with an international conference this year. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and French President Emmanuel Macron had a meeting on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. The two leaders spoke about mobilizing international support for Pakistan to help recover and rebuild its economy on a sustainable footing in the upshot of the climate change-induced floods. Aid groups warn of growing plight in flood-hit Pakistan

Islamabad: On September 2, record monsoon rains and melting glaciers in northern mountains killed at least 1,208 people, including 416 children, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) proclaimed. The head of the Edhi Foundation charity, Faisal Edhi, stated, "Ninety percent of people are still awaiting any kind of assistance; the situation is serious, people are starving," Edhi described the situation as grim and called on the government to lift a years-old ban on some international NGOs it had accused of "anti-state activities". Bella Hadid lends support to flood-hit Pakistan

On Thursday, American supermodel Bella Hadid shared a video clip and asked people to message her with any information about how to help. Taking to Instagram, Hadid shared a video of young schoolchildren being hurried along in order to save them from floodwater. “Finding real ways to help Pakistan.
