PIA Plans More London Flights From October

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will increase its weekly London services from October 27, responding to growing passenger demand. Under the revised schedule, five flights will operate from Islamabad and two from Lahore. PIA resumed direct UK services after a years-long suspension linked to safety concerns. Qatar Airways to resume flights to Iraq starting May 10

Qatar Airways says it will resume flights to Baghdad, Basra and Erbil airports in Iraq from May 10. Qatar initially closed its airspace on February 28 following US and Israeli strikes on Iran that launched the war, citing “precautionary measures” taken in response to “the latest developments in the region” and a need to guarantee “the highest levels of safety and security for all flights”. Indian airlines to operate 50 flights to the Gulf

Indian airlines plans to operate 50 flights to the Gulf today to serve tourists in the region and residents who want to leave. The Ministry of Civil Aviation said the operation follows 49 inbound flights on Sunday and 51 on Saturday. The main airports are in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Muscat and Jeddah, a statement said. The ministry is watching to ensure "ticket prices remain reasonable". Qatar Airways repatriation flights to five European cities announced for March 7

Qatar Airways has announced it will operate a series of special repatriation flights on 7 March, following temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirming a safe operating corridor. The flights will depart from Hamad international airport in Doha to the following destinations: London Heathrow (LHR), Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Madrid Barajas (MAD), Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Frankfurt (FRA). UK government urges airlines to increase capacity from UAE, Oman

The UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is “urging airlines to increase capacity” for flights from the UAE and Oman to ensure British citizens can return home.
