Several senior political leaders including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry, Zulfi Bukhari, Atif Khan, Naeem Haider Panjutha, Firdous Shamim Naqvi and others have secured relief from election tribunals as their nomination papers were accepted for the February 8 general elections. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) key deserters met Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Adiala jail on Wednesday. Fawad Chaudhry, Imran Ismail, Mahmood Moulvi and Aamir Kiani met Qureshi in the prison and tried to convince him to part ways with Imran Khan. Fawad Chaudhry ‘parts ways’ with Khan

‘Constitutional amendment or elections’, PTI tells govt

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry told the government to either amend the Constitution or hold elections in the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies in line with the Supreme Court's order. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry has said his party would challenge the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision to postpone the date for general elections in Punjab. The day was changed from April 30 to October 8 by the election organizing authority.
