SIC chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza arrested in Faisalabad

Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza was arrested by Islamabad police early Friday morning and later handed over to Faisalabad police. He was subsequently shifted to Faisalabad Central Jail. Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, other PTI leaders sentenced to 10 years in May 9 cases

Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Faisalabad has sentenced Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders including Omar Ayub, Zartaj Gul, Shibli Faraz to 10 years in prison in connection with the May 9 riots cases. The ATC Faisalabad verdict, announced in cases registered at the Ghulam Muhammadabad and Civil Lines police stations (Case No. 1277 and Case No. 832), convicted 108 individuals, while 77 others were acquitted. Major upset as Rana Sanaullah loses Faisalabad’s NA-100 seat

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has faced another upset as former interior minister Rana Sanaullah lost the elections in the National Assembly constituency (NA-100). Faisalabad man arrested for marrying 10-year-old

The local police of Faisalabad on Monday arrested a man for marrying a 10-year-old girl. According to the police officials, an adult male namely Ismail Jatoi married a minor girl who is just 10 years old and currently enrolled in class five. Assailants open fire on PTI’s sit-in in Faisalabad

Faisalabad: Unidentified assailants have opened fire at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) sit-in in Faisalabad. The sit-in was arranged for the protest against attack on party chief Imran Khan during long march. According to details, unidentified assailants have opened fire at PTI’s sit-in near D-type bridge in Faisalabad. However, no one sustained injuries doing the firing incident. Abu Bakar, a PTI leader, said that the attackers arrived in a jeep and opened fire at the participants of the protest, wherein former federal minister Farrukh Habib and MPA Mian Waris were also present.
