The war on Gaza has seen the unemployment rate in the besieged Palestinian territory surge to nearly 80 percent, the United Nations has said. The UN's labour agency said on Friday that Israel's war on Gaza had "caused loss of jobs and livelihoods on a massive scale", while gross domestic product has also plunged. India's employment rate rose in 2022

Contrary to the Modi regime’s tall claims, India’s unemployment rate rose to 8.30% in December, the highest in 16 months. The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) noted that the urban unemployment rate rose to 10.09% from 8.96%, while the rural unemployment rate slipped to 7.44% from 7.55%.“Most importantly, the employment rate has increased in December to 37.1%, which again is the highest since January 2022,” he told Reuters. ROK lifts visa curbs on foreign workers, including Pakistanis
