Two Education Officials Face Action Over Student

TAXILA: Two education officials in Fatehjang have been suspended and an inquiry ordered over alleged corporal punishment of a sixth-grade student. The officials, Mohammad Hanif and Mohammad Saleem, serve at Government Elementary Boys School, Kamra. FBISE announces annual exam results for 2026

Kuwait orders Iranian school shut: Education Ministry

Authorities in Kuwait ordered the closure of a local Iranian school, a source at the education ministry told AFP on Thursday, after the country came under repeated Iranian attack during the Middle East war. The source did not give a reason for the closure of the country’s only Iranian school, but Kuwait was one of several Gulf states hosting US forces to be targeted by Iran over the course of the war, most recently when a June ceasefire between the belligerents broke down. Israel extends closure of schools, workplaces until March 7 

Israel’s military said it was extending the closure of educational establishments and workplaces until 8pm (1800 GMT) on Saturday, as the US and Israel continued striking targets in Iran for the third consecutive day. "The Home Front Command has updated the defensive guidelines until Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 20:00," the military said, extending an earlier advisory. HEC makes AI course mandatory for all degree programmes across Pakistan

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has issued a notification making a three-credit-hour course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) mandatory for all undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes across the country, starting from the academic session 2026.
