Security Plan Tightened Ahead of PTI March

More than 43,200 personnel will be deployed across the Rawalpindi division for the PTI long march on September 27, with around 120 blocking points identified. Power Shortfall Triggers Nighttime Loadshedding

The government on Saturday apologised to consumers over nighttime electricity loadshedding, blaming the disruption on delayed RLNG cargoes. The Power Division said temporary load management was carried out during peak hours after a significant generation shortfall caused by unavailable RLNG, while output from Mangla Dam also declined. Iran's Khamenei warns against divisions after 'enemy's defeat on battlefield' 

Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said in a message on Thursday that Iran's enemies, having been defeated on the battlefield, were now seeking to undermine public resilience and sow internal divisions. Khamenei called for national unity in the face of those threats and said any action that created pessimism or frustration among the public amounted to helping the enemy. Lebanese president warns against internal division

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun says there’s no alternative to negotiations with Israel to end the war, warning against internal divisions that could threaten the country’s stability. In a post by the Lebanese presidency on X, Aoun said Lebanon is committed to preserving peace, adding “anyone who fuels provides a service to Israel”. Govt to hold final PIA bidding by mid-December, NA panel told

FFD forecast medium flood in Indus River at Chashma in 24 hours

The water officials have predicted medium flood in Indus River at Chashma Barrage during the next 24 hours, while likely low flood at Guddu Barrage. The Flood Forecasting Division (FFD) has also forecast likely low flood in Jhelum River at Mangla. Low flood is also expected in Chenab at Marala headworks and Kabul River at Nowshera point. Israeli army detains several people during raids in Syria

Israel says it has detained several people in Syrian territory during raids on weapons storage sites this week. Troops from the Israeli army's 210th Division "apprehended several suspects involved in terrorist activity" this week and took them into Israeli territory, the military said. According to a notification issued by Cabinet Division, Eidul Fitr 2025 holidays will be observed from Monday (March 31) to April 2.
