Death toll in Dominican Republic tragedy tops 200 as burials begin

A roof collapse at a concert in a popular nightclub in the capital of the Dominican Republic has killed at least 221 people, authorities said on Thursday, with recovery efforts set to wrap up as families mourn the dead. Israeli settlers hold concert, perform rituals at Ibrahimi Mosque site

After closing the Ibrahimi Mosque to Palestinian worshippers, the Israeli army allowed thousands of illegal settlers to hold a concert and perform their rituals at the site in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron. Tajikistan detains 9 people over Russian concert hall attack

Tajikistan has detained nine people this week suspected of having links to a mass shooting at a Russian concert hall last Friday and also to the militant Islamist group that claimed responsibility, a Tajik security source told Reuters. Four suspected gunmen behind the deadliest attack in Russia in 20 years are Tajik citizens.
